Procedure for JEE Mains has not changed except that you have to provide Aadhar number while applying. Major change is in procedure of rankings. Now, marks of 12th will not be counted.

Good B-schools in Hyderabad are: IPE, Shiva Shivani, Aurora, Dhruva. But not sure if the fee would be below 2lakh. Better try to get into universities like JNTU or OU through CET, their the fee might be less.

Both branches require skilled ppl as per the job sector is concerned so you need to go with the one that brings out the best in you. If you can visualize a big picture, have excellent spatial skills and love to work in field, civil will be the one for u. Sitting for hours to design a software programme, keen observation, detailing etc is what you will do in IT sector.
