Please remember Germany is the best study destination to pursue masters degree in mechanical engineering and related fields, getting admission in German universities in very competitive you need to have very good academic record to get admission in German universities.
In order to pursue masters degree from universities in Germany, you need to have relevant undergraduate degree from recognized university with good academic record preferably 70%-80% plus in graduation, plus you need to take below mentioned tests:
1. GRE score of 300-320 plus.
2. TOEFL 90-100 plus or IELTS score of 6-7 bands plus.
Please note that the eligibility criteria for admission may differ from university to university.

Dear friend,You can't take engineering by Distance learning. Please note that all the universities imparting technical education have been closed down by DEC. And as per law no Universities can provide technical Education through Distance Mode. Like Anna University, JNTU, Thapar university , JRN University, KSOU were asked to stop their technical programs through Distance Mode by DEC, not only this but IGNOU which started VIEP program through face to face model in collaboration with regular engineering colleges were forced to stop it just after 1 year of commencement of program.
So please be careful and don't fall prey to any university or Institution approaching you for admission in technical program through Distance mode.
The valid option for taking technical course through distance mode is
1) AMIE (Associate Membership Of Institute Of Engineering) All Branches Electrical, Mech, Chem, Compter, Civil, Aero etc you have to clear Sec A & Sec B in respective branch which will be equivalent to BE and is valid and well recognized in India for Govt. Jobs and Further Education.
2) You can complete Electronics & Communication , CS or IT diploma & Degree within 3-4 years from Institution of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) , New Delhi through Distance mode which is also recognized in India.

To get a job as aircraft maintenance engineering, below are the details :
The courses in Aircraft Maintenance are open to both men and women, and are granted recognition by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). The course duration is 3 years 6 months and the training is imparted in mechanical maintenance and in Avionics. Class XII (PCM) followed by 3 year diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering. This can be followed by the Associate Membership of the Aeronautical Society of India. The Society conducts associate membership examination. Sections A and B of this examination has been recognised by the Ministry of Education, on par with a bachelor's degree in aeronautical engineering from an Indian university. Students passing A&B of the Society's examination are eligible to appear in GATE or post graduate studies at IITs. Candidates who have passed Associate Membership Examination of the Society are eligible for relaxation of 12 months experience requirements for the Aircraft Maintenance Engineers licence conducted by the Director General of Civil Aviation. The Engineering Council of London grants direct entry in part two of their examination for those who have passed sections A & B.
Aeronautical engineering can be studied with this society through correspondence. The examination consists of three parts-Studentship, Section A and Section B. About 200 aeronautical engineers pass out from various institutions in the country every year.
Examination centers are at Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Indore, Kharagpur, Chennai and Tiruvananthapuram.
