Hi Darshit,
Well it depends on university to university but yes it is possible. The universities may look at the modules that you have studied in first year and these modules are as per the curriculum followed in that university then you may be eligible for lateral entry.
In such cases I would encourage you to write to the universities directly sharing your profile they may assess and let you know.
Few universities in UK that may take you for lateral entry are: Swansea university, Aston university, Bradford university.
Hope this helps.

I think admissions are going to get closed so you should take admission quickly. You have scored good marks in your 12th but if you are in general category so it would be quite difficult to get enrollment in top government college or any top university. But if you belong to SC/ST category so you can try, might be you get any chance to be a part of top engineering college. Well on other side you should also try for other private engineering colleges such as SKIET, SDTM, KITM, which are the reputed & well-renowned.

Hi Amitabh, I am not sure how good you are with maths and programming. If you are, then you must pick up a language whether PHP/ HTML5 (web dev), .Net (for software dev) Java/ Android (for apps) or C#/ Unity (for games). I understand from your question, that you have chosen to work on .Net. However like i mentioned, you must be good with programming to move ahead in this area since you have to compete with other MCAs and BTech(CS) applicants.
So go ahead and choose your internship/ industrial training very carefully. Do not just go for the cheapest to save money. See the IT company's credentials on the net. for example if someone provi

Hi Sania,
After doing your B.Tech in Biotechnology, you can either choose to do a post graduate degree in the area of Biotechnology, if you are interested in Research. On the other hand you could also look into doing a management degree if you are looking at a Management post in the industry (eg Pharmaceutical Industry).
If you prefer to go down the technical research route, then you first need to get a post graduate degree –an M.Tech degree would be preferable. There are many universities that you could look at. Some of these are Anna University, Chennai; University of Calcutta, Jadavpur University, Calcutta; Indian Institute of
