He can explore on option of professions like C. A/ legal advisory/ doctor/ programmer/ data scientist etc. Which require less movement and can be regarded as desk jobs. If it is possible M. B. S from a good college would be best. A lot depend on his situation. Data Science is a demanding skill and a very lucrative desk job. Recently government has allowed some Indian universities to offer online degree I. e one can pursue courses from these universities from the comfort of home. A bless for special people. Best wishes.
