A minimum of 50% in the 10+2 level results is the basic requirement. It is necessary for students to have a Science background. If not MBBS, the applicant must have a related medical Science degree. A minimum of 55% is expected of the students in their undergraduate.

The candidates will be allowed to raise objection to IIFT answer key only until the objection window is open. No request will be accepted once the answer key challenge window closes on the NTA-IIFT website. The scores mentioned in the IIFT result will be final based on the final answer key, revised after examination of the objections received, so there will be no provision of challenging the official answer keys later. The fees of raising objection to IIFT answer key is INR 200 per question. The payment can be done in online mode via debit/credit card or net banking at the time of filling the answer key objection form. The fee is non-refundable in case of non-acceptance of the objection raised by the candidates. The IIFT answer key objection fee is refunded to only those candidates, whose objections are accepted. The IIFT answer key is revised on the basis of valid objection and published as final answer key. The objection fee is refunded within 5-7 working days through bank account.

No, objections can be raised only on the preliminary IIFT answer key released before the exam result. Once the final answer key and result are released, no request for raising objection will be accepted. So candidates must avail the answer key challenge opportunity within the given time frame only. Raising objection is a one-time activity and should be done only if candidates are sure that the official answer is incorrect and they can provide evidence for the same. For every objection, fee is charged which is non-refundable if the objection is not found to be valid.

IIFT response sheet and answer key are made available for download from the official website of NTA-IIFT for two to three days. The answer key download is activated about 10-15 days after the exam. Candidates can check the IIFT response sheet and answer key at the NTA website by using their login credentials, i.e. IIFT application number and date of birth. The final IIFT answer key (if the preliminary answer key is revised in response to objections received) is released as a PDF and is available without login. The final answer key is released either with the result or a couple of days after result announcement.
