Candidates who belong to reserved or special categories will have to submit their category certificates during MET counselling. If they cannot confirm their category, they will not be allowed to take admission as per respective category. Authorities will release list of documents that will be needed for verification.

The requirements for admission to Accounting and Commerce colleges vary from institution to institution. The following is widely acceptable for admission to colleges at the UG and PG levels:

• Majority of accounting and commerce colleges need students to have at least a 60% average on their Class 12 exams in order to be admitted. 
• In order to be qualified for admission to universities of accounting and commerce, students must have completed graduation by at least 50%.

If candidates miss their last date for MET counselling document verification, then their admission will be cancelled.

Candidates have to submit documents during MET counselling to confirm admission. Some important documents to be submitted are hall ticket, rank card, counselling form, marksheets and more.

IIT Kanpur MBA total tuition fee ranges between INR 2.8 Lacs and INR 13.1 Lacs as per an unofficial source. The fee excludes admission fee, security deposits, semester fee and hostel charges. There is relaxation in fee for reserved category students. Candidates need to pay fee after completion of the selection rounds, to confirm their seat. 

Apart from the tuition fee, aspirants need to register with an application fee in the start of the admission process. The application fee is INR 1,600 for General/ OBC (NCL) candidates. The fee is low (INR 800) for SC/ ST/ DAP candidates.

MET seat allotment result will be announced online at counseling.manipal.edu. No other mode will be used to declare the seat allotment of MET. The Guwahati University MBA placement details will be updated here as soon as released. The University has released the overall placement data for PG (2-year) courses. Out of 1,951 PG (2-year) graduates 421 were placed during the 2023 drive. Earlier, 398 out of 1,971 students were placed during 2022 placements. As per a news report, the Education minister has stated that CUET exam score shall not be required for admission to undergraduate courses in colleges affiliated with North-Eastern Hill University.
