Some of the Indian academic institutions which have emerged in the recent past include the Indira Institute of Technology and Sciences (IITS) in Prakasam, Andhra Pradesh, have received some chequered results concerning placement services. Some of the students have indicated good placements while others they do not believe the placement process is effective.

Placement Highlights:

Placement Percentage: As per the data shared up to 50 % of the students placed already and the highest salary offered up to ?20000/- pm. 

Recruiting Companies: Some of the companies reported to recruit at the Port Harcourt school include, Ibon and Infotech. 

Internship Opportunities: None of the internships were provided during the course. 

These numbers show that the placement scenario at IITS is rather humble. The potential students are advised to directly talk with the institutes placement cell along with the present batch students to get a reality check with the current scenario of placement.
