First of all, you should decide what sort of college you're looking for. If you're looking for IIMs or Top colleges than you must drop out these year and work hard and get into these colleges. But if you're looking for decent colleges then you must join these year without wasting your one full year. You can increase your ROI by getting higher packages. From what I've seen at Lovely Professional University, the fee for M.Sc Agriculture (Agronomy) is roughly ₹80,000–₹1,00,000 per semester. Since it's a 2-year course (4 semesters), the total comes to around ₹3.2–4 lakh approx.
Hostel is extra (around ₹1–1.3 lakh per year). But honestly, you can reduce the cost through scholarships (LPUNEST or merit). Compared to many private universities, the fees are similar, but scholarships at LPU can make it more manageable.
