World renowned Visva Bharati University, Kolkata, offers multiple programmes at Undergraduate (UG), Postgraduate (PG), M Phil, PhD and diploma levels in various streams like Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, Mass Communications, etc.
Admission process at this prestigious University begins in the month of April every year and the classes commence from July.
Minimum Eligibility Criteria for UG and PG courses
Minimum cutoff required for admission to various UG courses ranges between 45% and 60% in Class XII, depending on the stream. For Arts and Languages, the minimum cutoff is 45% and for some science streams the cutoff is 55%. For rest of the courses, the cutoff is 60%.
Minimum cutoff required for admission to various PG courses is between 45% and 60% in 10+2+3 or equivalent, depending on the stream.
Admission Process
