Programming wont help much to managers as you will work as Project Manager or Supply chain manager or Business Analyst after MBA.But You have an edge over others because of your programming skills .It is definitely an additional advantage.Regarding MBA corporates give job for both Major and Minor specialization(Govt jobs are only for Major)So Marketing Plenty of jobs are there.Particulary in startups.You may get the job like managing newly developed Software in startups and explaining its features to marketing dept or clients.or you may look job in IT product Giants like GOOGLE who give entire importance to technical person.
