Being Alumni of LPU, I would like to answer this question. At LPU, Admission in any programme depends on qualifying the Eligibility criteria for that programme, so qualifying the same you can proceed for Admissions. LPU conducts LPU NEST for most of the programmes. LPU NEST is National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission to various programmes in LPU. This test forms the basis of Eligibility and Scholarship for most of the programmes and for some of the programmes test is applicable only for scholarship. LPU NEST serves both the purposes. Also, if you have qualified LPU NEST for Eligibility purpose, you can also improve your score for Scholarship purpose as well. For qualifying the LPU NEST for Eligibility purpose, around 40% marks are required but for Scholarship purpose, cut-offs are required to be qualified for LPU NEST. So, qualifying the same, you can proceed for Admissions. Admissions in LPU have started for most of the programmes. LPU is currently inviting applications for B.Tech in various streams, so you can apply from their website. In order to apply for the Exam, you can refer the following steps :
1 Register yourself on the portal
2. Fill the details
3. Choose the programme
4. Apply for LPUNEST
5. Make the payment for LPU NEST and Book the slot for the Exam I. e date and time for the exam as per your availability.
6. Appear and Qualify the LPU NEST and wait for Result
7. Participate in Online Counselling and Seat Allotment Process
