The common merit list that is prepared is based on the candidate’s performance in the exam.Please remember that only those aspirants, who have taken both Paper 1 and Paper 2 will be considered for ranking.
As far as the marking system is concerned, the marks secured by a candidate in Physics will be equal to the marks he/she secures in Physics part of Paper 1 plus marks in Physics part of Paper 2. The same procedure is followed for Chemistry and Mathematics too. Thus, the sum of the marks obtained in individual subjects in JEE Advanced 2015 will be the aggregate marks for the aspirant.
Coming back to the merit list, aspirants must have scored at least 10% in each subject and 35% in aggregate in order to be in the common merit list(CML). Separate lists will be prepared for the prepared for general, OBC (NCL), SC and ST category students.
Students from OBC (NCL) category should have scored at least 9% in each subject and 31.5% in aggregate in order to be in the OBC (NCL) merit list. However, students from the SC and ST categories must score at least 5% in each subject and 17.5% in aggregate in order to be in their respective merit lists.
Merit lists for PwD candidates:
Separate merit lists will be prepared for PwD candidates who further belong to the GE, OBC (NCL), SC and ST categories. To be in these merit lists, candidates must score at least 5% in each subject and 17.5% in aggregate.

For most of the universities, admission to the B.Ed program requires a Bachelor’s degree or a higher degree with 45% - 50% marks from a recognized University, and In-service teachers with two years full time teaching experience on temporary/ permanent basis as Primary/ Graduate/ Post Graduate teacher in a primary/ secondary/ higher/ senior secondary school recognized by the Central or State Government or a Union Territory. The admission to the course is through an entrance exam. There are a few universities like IGNOU which requires just a pass in graduation, but would conduct entrance exams.
The optional subjects for the B.Ed program are English, Mathematics, Physical Science, Natural Science, Social Science, Biological Sciences, Economics, Commerce, History and also Computer Science etc.

BCA is a very good course to have taken up during your under-graduation program. You can look at immediately starting work after you BCA in any software development company such as Oracle, Headstrong, Accenture etc.
Another option is that you look at further education such as an MBA or MCA program or even a specialised package such as an ERP platform such as SAP or Oracle.The two courses you have chosen have both got tremendous scope. The industries they open up for you,however are different. The MCA course opens up the IT industry - software development, networking, testing, design, ERP etc while the MBA program will open up the Corporate world - Brand Management, Advertising, Market Research, Insurance, Mutual Funds, Banking, corporate finance, Human Resources etc.
You need to decide which industry you are more interested in and then take a call on the course. Overall, salary levels are higher in the Corporate world and therefore scope and potential for growth better after an MBA. Some colleges best known for an MBA are IIM's (Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Lucknow etc), XLRI, FMS, MDI, SP Jain, Bajaj, NMIMS, ISB, Symbiosis etc.Colleges for MCA courses in the country:- - Pune University- JNU, New Delhi- National Centre for Software Technology (NCST), Mumbai- Lucknow University.
