It depends on your branch preference and also which IITs you consider as "good". Cutoffs are much higher in old IITs of Delhi, Kanpur and Bombay than the newly opened ones. JEE Board offered ranks to students scoring above 123 marks in JEE '14 which went approximately to AIR 19000.
However, general category students only up to AIR 9000 were considered for counselling and no student with AIR above 7500 got any branch in any IIT. The cutoffs in JEE are increasing drastically every year - and there is no fixed cutoff. The maximum marks and type of paper is also unpredictable. Hi Shaksham,
Yes, you can get admission here without Mains exam because here admission is through counseling based on the rank obtained in Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE). The minimum eligibility criteria for admissions to the undergraduate programmes state that the candidates will have to complete their 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying examination, from a recognised board. For full detail you can refer to this link given below :-

Hello Sanakar,
The competition in the process of Admission in DU through ECA is really tough. Students with training from NSD and other reputed institutions compete for the admissions. However you can prepare mono acts on various themes, basically social issues, but make sure that they aren't offensive. You need to have backup options since judges may ask you to perform more than 1 acts
Another important thing is your certificates and past record. If you have certificates that you've won in competitions during your school, it will be beneficial for you.
Good luck.
