Yes, the admission in B.Tech Textile Engineering is possible or you can say that it is the only way to get admission in a govt. college. However, from last two years, admission in textile engineering is very less so the students have to shift to other branches like Textile Technology and Textile Chemistry. Therefore, if you are thinking to take admission in textile engineering then keep other branches in your mind.

Hello Suyash,
I am attaching a link that will give you all the required information about this.
https://studyabroad.shiksha.com/australia/universities
However, I would like to advise you that please look out for roadshow done by Australian universities in India twice in a year. They give absolutely authentic information. In addition, please approach agencies who send students to Australia for undergraduate studies. They would be knowing all the nuances in the process.
Best wishes.

Hi Srishti,
You are eligible as per the minimum criteria, but the problem is high cutoff. Generally, it goes very high, above 90%. That is why it will be difficult for you to get admission in this college. Try for some other private colleges.

You can get admission in the second year directly only if you have already completed your Diploma. After completing Diploma, you need to appear in the lateral entry entrance exam. From there, on the merit basis, you will be given a seat in this college.
Best of luck.
