College fees is very reasonable. For Day Scholars, it is 15700 per semester for the regular courses and 38000 for SSP programmes. For hostelite, 5330 has to be paid along the fees during the semester registration. Since, UGC has already released the guidelines which will now allow students to pursue dual degrees - two degrees of their choice, simultaneously so a student can go for the dual degree courses. But it is not possible in case of regular B.Tech courses of the college.

After completing your 3 year Diploma in the same branch from State Council of Technical Education and Training, Odisha or from an AICTE approved Institute/ from a recognised University then you can get enrolled in B.Tech Lateral Entry courses directly in the 2nd year through OJEE exam and counselling.

B.Tech courses like CSE, IT or Instrumentation are best as they get good placements in top companies. These branches also have good infrastructure in the college. Besides last there was a rise in placements and internships of core branches like Civil, Mechanical and Electrical.

Yes, if you are looking for a good state government. College in Odisha. Importantly due to its location at the state capital it has an edge over other colleges. It is a university now for which it is looking for more progress rapidly soon going to be one of the best colleges in the state. It is best if you go for B.Tech in circuital or core branches.
