If you are studying in the 1st year of engineering course and want to change the branch after completing 1st year of engineering i.e in the 2nd year then you can change the branch in 2nd year if your CGPA in the first year is minimum 8.5 or above and there are no backlog in any paper of 1st year. If you satisfy the above eligibility criteria then you can change the branch after completing 1st year of engineering.
Most colleges have a different provision for admission. You need to contact the institute officials personally for specific admission details as it differs from one college to another.

Why dont you check for admission in some other top universities of india other then telengana. Avg package is also pretty good as compared to other colleges in pune university. For 2014 batch placement was almost for everyone. Avg package was around 6.5lpa
