Dear Suyash, Both are good options. As far as placements are concerned Food technology is recommend as it has more job opportunities provided you do that from some top university as Thapar, Lovely Professional University, CFTRI etc.

Hi Kumar,
If you are studying in the 1st year of engineering course and want to change the branch after completing 1st year of engineering i.e in the 2nd year then you can change the branch in 2nd year if your CGPA in the first year is minimum 8.5 or above and there are no backlog in any paper of 1st year. If you satisfy the above eligibility criteria then you can change the branch after completing 1st year of engineering.
Most colleges have a different provision for admission. You need to contact the institute officials personally for specific admission details as it differs from one college to another.

Try your luck.attend counselling. it is difficult to predict that at rank of 1892 whether you will get admission or not, but u have chances. Apart from this do track for other programs as well like Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Ayurveda from some renowed universities of india like Pune university, Lovely Professional University, GNDU.

It is hard to get admission in good college as your rank is too low.
Why dont you check for admission in some other top universities of india other then telengana. I have numerous students moves to lovely professional university, you also might have heard about this, as this university is the best university to take admission due to the reason that its fee is very less and also its very scholarships schemes apart from its facilities , infrastructure and diversity.

For becoming aeronautical engg. opt for B.Tech/ BE in aero, but if you choose for B.Tech in ME or mechatronics one can also get job in aeronautics.

You can opt for B.Sc botany or B.Sc+M.Sc Integrated in Botany. Integrated admission will help you to save money as the fee rises every year and in integrated course you will be charged the same fee.

Avg package is also pretty good as compared to other colleges in pune university. For 2014 batch placement was almost for everyone. Avg package was around 6.5lpa
