No, its is not compulsory for BCom aspirants at Jai Hind College to have studied Maths in Class 12. As per the eligibility criteria specified by the college for BCom admission, candidates willing to pursue a BCom at Jai Hind College must have passed Class 12 from a recognised board. The college has not specified any requirements relating to the subjects or stream required in Class 12. Hence, Mathematics in Class 12 is not a necessity to secure BCom admission at the college.

The Jain University cutoff varied from exam to exam and year. In 2026, the XAT percentile was 50 for a seat. For the CAT exam, the 2025 cutoff was also 50. For the MAT entrance exam, the cutoff was 71 in 2025.

Yes, admissions are open at IIIT Sri City. The last date to apply for these programs was in June. Admissions for the BTech programme are also ongoing through JoSAA/CSAB counselling. For MTech, candidates have to appear for GATE or for Non-GATE candidates, the selection is based on either merit or an entrance exam conducted by IIIT Sri City.
