No, when you're in school you have to take math classes that are part of the curriculum, but most of the math you'll actually need when practicing as an architect is pretty basic. Basic trigonometry is helpful to figure out and angle from the lengths of the sides of a triangle, or vice versa, but with computers these days, even that really isn't necessary. When I was in college I had to take calculus, but I think now they have "calculus for non-math majors" that's easier.
