Chennai Institute of Technology does not have any set cutoff but those who have scored high in Class 12 are better. TNEA ranks are ascending through ranks and specialisation. Students whose average is more than 80 percent in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics have a good chance. Counselling rank is a very considerate factor during final seat nomination.

CMAT is one of the accepting exams for admission to PGDM. In 2024, the overall CMAT cutoff was 85. This was same in 2023 as well. However, it is not compulsory to have a CMAT score for admission. Aspirants with a valid score in CAT, MAT, ATMA, etc. can also get admission in the PGDM programme.

Yes, IRMA Anand gives credence to national-level examinations like CAT, XAT, and CMAT to take admission to PGDM. FPM, in the case, accepts other exams, such as GATE, NET and ICAR. Besides, IRMA undertakes its own IRMAWAT test. Short listed candidates also go through PI rounds.

It is highly improbable that a general category student will be able to get in with CUET normalized score of 218, for microbiology or biotechnology admissions to Delhi University. These courses are highly competitive, and scores usually range above 400, sometimes very close to 475 or more. If you belong to a reserved category, such as SC, ST, or PwD, and apply to less competitive colleges in DU, then there may be a small possibility depending on seat fill rate and cut-off. You could also check similar life sciences majors or other universities with more accommodating cut-off levels. Just keep checking in on the CSAS portal.
