Well, before answering, please tell me WHY your friend wants to pursue MBBS at 35- any special reasons?
What is his present qualifications?
Is he employed, if yes- where & as What?
Is he married? If yes- How many dhildren+ their age.
Is his wife employed?
What is his family income & family budget per month?
What is his source of funds (say in the range of Rs. 10 to 12 Lakhs)?
If a loan, what surety can he produce to a Bank?

Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) is slightly different from Aeronautical or Aerospace Engineering. Aeronautical engineers specialise for the field at the B.Tech level and are involved in designing and manufacturing of aircrafts while Aircraft Maintenance Engineers service the aircraft and keep it in perfect flying condition.
Eligibility
Candidates who want to pursue Aircraft Maintenance Engineering course should have completed 10+2 with at least 50 per cent marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. There is an upper age limit of 23 years to enter the programme. Upper age limit may be relaxed for those who have done three-year diploma course in engineering (in any stream) or B.Sc. after 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Math.
Though eligibility criteria may differ in various institutes as each institutes have their own policy and procedure for admission to various programs.
After the successful completion of AME course you can appear and qualify for AMAeSI (Associate Membership of Aeronautical Society of India) which is fully recognized by Government of India/ State Government/ Union Public Service Commission/ GATE for MTech admission/ Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd/ Indian Airlines/ Air India/ BHEL/ DRDO/ NAL/ IAF/ Coast Guard/ Airline Industries/ Birla Institute of Technology, Ranchi/ Madras Institute of Technology as equivalent to BE/ BTech (Aeronautical Engineering). It will help you in getting jobs in different airline Industries.
