placements comparison civil vs CSE at (IEC University B.Tech).

1. there are dcent no of companies across the  board
2. opprtinities are always better in techinical genres
3. civil is comparitively lighter compared to CSE in normal studies if you have good knowledge in physics and alll
4. the scope of placements are just better in CSE
5. the avg You can get is about 6-7 in CSE
6. for Civil the avg may drop drastically
7. in civil its bit tough to touch 7-8 Lacs while in Cse its far more superiors
8. depend  upon the spectrum of knowledge
9. If you are interested in core branch then seek for civil it has loty more practical userbase
10.  again the factor of CSE dominance can put an hinderance to other lower branches
11. summarizing it all go for CSE if you can get it otherwise nothing too worse in  civil though the efforts should be in different direction with different attraction of opportunities on board.

1.NIT themselves are brand 

2. they are runned by govts fund

3.You always gonna find better palcement opportunities in an NIT and reputed gfti over other colleges

4.comparing over iec the avg package thier is about twice or thrice thir avg package

5.avg pacvkage at NIT hamirpur tops at 12 LPA meanwhile

the avg package here at IEC is just 4-5

6.the crowd over an NIT compared to any other colleges (except bits, iiits, and other such high level colleges)

is much better compared

7.the fact adjoined to such dominant colleges is that they provide a boost of opportunity.

8 if you are good at coding and not getting higher branchat such college go with a light weight branch that could provide you an ample amount of oppportunities being light at subjects and take coding in parallel maintaing CGPA at good. you can definetly make to interviews without that much of compromise
