The students also must qualify to get seats under Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Swadhar Yojna, who will provide seats only to those admitted through CAP and whose family incomes are within INR 2 lakh. They also need to have secured at least 60% in their earlier examination.

Thadomal Shahani Engineering College has the Rajarshi Chattrapati Shahu Maharaj Shikshan Shulka Shishyavruti Yojna for the students in the Open Category. The students who get admitted through CAP are eligible under this, and it will be utilized, considering the benefit package of EBC, which accounts for 50% of the tuition fee and 50% of the exam fee.

Candidates seeking admission to TSEC Mumbai need to visit the admission office of the institute to get an admission kit that contains a datasheet, admission form and college brochure. Then he needs to fill up the application form attach all the necessary documents with pay an application fee of INR 300. The candidate then gets into the admission round and gets his document verified.

A passport-size photograph, Class 10 and 12 mark sheets, DTE Registration Form, MHT-CET 2023 or JEE (Main) 2024 score card, Aadhaar Card, a college leaving or transfer certificate, birth certificate, domicile certificate, Indian nationality certificate, and required other documents must be prepared by the applicants to TSEC Mumbai.

For offline applications for SIMATS, applicants need to proceed to the SIMATS Chennai admissions office, where they obtain the prospectus and application form after paying the cash or by DD worth INR 1,000. To apply online for programs other than BTech and BArch at IGDTUW, students should:

1. Visit the official admission portal.
2. Register using a valid email ID, contact number, and name.
3. Log in with the newly created ID.
4. Complete the online application form with all required details.
5. Upload the necessary documents.
6. Pay the application fee and submit the form.

To apply for the IGDTUW, a candidate needs to have all these things ready: class 10 and 12 mark sheet and certificate, bachelor's degree if one has it, passport-sized photograph, Aadhar card, and caste certificate in case it is needed.

IGDTUW provides numerous scholarships to students at different stages. For instance, PhD students can apply for the IGDTUW JRF/SRF (TRF) Scholarship. For non-GATE MTech/MPlan students with a CGPA of 8 and above, and 75% attendance, financial assistance is available. Also eligible are the full-time PhD students who do not hold any scholarship. Other scholarships include the Upma Memorial Award which takes the class rank of BTech MAE 4th-year student, the top BTech Dr. Babuajee Jha Scholarship.
