There are many course options available after 12th Science. You must opt for the one which matches your interest and skills as it will help you to achieve your long term career goal.
* With Biology, Physics and Chemistry, you may take up medicine, dentistry, agricultural science, dairy science or biological sciences (biochemistry, biotechnology).
[Eligibility criteria : complete 12th (PCB) with minimum 60% and sit for an entrance exam].
* Apart from doing the degree level courses in Science with the conventional combinations you can also choose degree courses in several emerging professional areas such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy, nursing, computer, business administration.
* You can also opt for courses outside the university stream such as hotel management, fashion technology, aircraft maintenance engineering, government accredited computer courses.
However, other than Science stream you may even explore the opportunities Commerce and Humanities offer.

MCA is a three year full time course of six semesters. It covers many subjects such as programming, development, designing, accounting, finance, networks and managing databases. It helps an individual to take the decisions related to development and programming in organizations.

Generally to pursue MCA :
- One needs to pass BCA, BBA or B.Tech with more than 60 % .
- Students who have finished their graduation in Science can also apply. These students must have studied Mathematics as a subject in class 10+2.
- There is no age limit.
Aspirants need to write an entrance exam to get admission into the MCA course.
