"Mathematics is fundamental to all areas of science, so take as much math as you can handle. However, some scientists don't use tons of math in their work other than statistics (biologists for example). ALL scientists use statistics. All scientists must also learn some chemistry and physics. It is also strongly recommended that all scientists learn some biology as well. Scientists will typically also study a foreign language. Typical choices include French, Russian and German because many older, important, untranslated papers are written in these languages."
Forget all those books and people. To be a scientist you need one thing PhD. Studying one or many particular individuals won't make you a scientist. Having a strong foundation in a field, years of research producing a thesis/dissertation, and field work will. Being a scientist is having and knowing a methodological way of thinking. Not studying people and what they've done. Studying Einstein won't make you any more a scientist than the man in the moon. Understanding his work and producing years of replicable and verifiable work will.

In order to join Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) as an Scientist, you must fulfill the following criteria:
Must have completed Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in relevant discipline.
Must have scored a minimum of 65% marks in aggregate in all the semesters.
Must not be over 35 years of age.( The maximum age limit is relaxed upto 3 years for candidates belonging to OBC category and upto 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST category).
If you find yourself eligible, you will have to apply for entrance examination conducted by Indian Space Research Organisation every year and the notification for the same is published on the official website of the organization.

** You should have completed 17 years of age on or before 31st day of December of the year of admission.

If you are anxiety to become Income tax officer than follow below paragragh,
Alternate No.1
You cannot become an Income Tax officer after 12th.
To become Income Tax officer you have to pass the Civil Services Exam conducted by the Union Public Services Commission (UPSC). Minimum qualification for taking the exam is any Bachelors Degree. Since you are good in maths and accounts, it would be good for you to do a B.Com. After that you may do M.Com, because even though the minimum requirement is graduation, the questions in the UPSC exams are of post-graduate level. Best of luck.

To become an Income Tax Officer you have to clear the SSC Combined Graduate Level Exams.
This Exam is conducted every Year in the month of JULY & notification comes out in March-April.
SSC Combined Level Exams are conducted in three Tiers.
Tier 1 -You have to first appear in Tier 1 written exams and clear it.
Tier 2 -After clearing Tier 1 you become eligible to appear in Tier 2 exams.
Tier 3 -Interviews are conducted for candidates successful in Tier 2 exams.
Eligibility
Educational Qualification - Minimum qualification is Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University.
Age Limit- 18-27yrs in general category,for OBC relaxation of upper age limit by 3yrs and for SC/ST by 5yrs.
The starting salary is around Rs.27000-30000 per month and other benefits or incentives.
