Dear Abhishek,
Please don't apply for B.Tech in Lingaya's. It's a bad, bad college. Faculty is the worst of its class - most teachers can't even speak English, leave alone knowing their own subject. The staff there does not treat you very well. It's more like a Government office where you have to go from desk to desk for getting small things done. Then, it's like a jail. They don't let you move out before the college officially shuts in the evening, so even if you are free all day, you'll be forced to stay confined inside the college campus. Placements are below average. Life at Lingaya's is truly miserable: they don't have even clean t

Hi,
B.Com (H) is an undergraduate degree designed to inculcate business acumen in students. The course curriculum includes subjects like cost accounting, organizational behaviour and then one can specialize in fields like accounts and economics.
B.COM (P)- The course is similar to B.Com (H). The difference lies in the fact that you can specialize in a certain subject in B.Com (H), but the B.Com (P) course gives you an overview of all those subjects taught in the honours course.
Maths is basics and not core. To answer your 2nd part, I would like to invite expertise from IMA

Hi,
1. You should speak to the concerned university if they can allow you to sit for the papers in which you have had arrears.
2. One sitting degree is generally not advisable since higher education and jobs (private or public sector) both asks for a graduation from a recognized university.
In India the education system is 10+2+3 so follow the same.

Yes you can pursue M.C.A but it is more of Software oriented while you hail from Mechanical background.
