Many universities ask at least 55% marks in 10+2 for pursuing b.tech.
if u are really interested in doing b.tech. then go for improvement exams first.
improve your percentage and then enroll in b.tech.

gender does not matter in any of b.tech. branches. u can take up any branch.
besides,now a days civil engineering is opening up with many scopes. it will be very good for u to take up civil or architecture.
