Yeah, it's hard truth, but when you keep on getting experienced in Food technology in industrial side we will get better salary that B.Sc agriculture student. But it would take around 7-8 years. But after B.Sc agriculture if you completed M.Sc agriculture, he could able to earn better returns then B.tech in Food tech. Growth in food technology is slow but steady and Agriculture side growth and opportunities are very very good as per my research in those fields.

Yes there is sectional cutoffs. You have to secure minimum specified marks in each subject. For SC category students the aggregate Cutoff score is 64 but in each subject you have to secure atleast 6 marks.

If you are in top 20 percentile of your board then you are eligible for JEE otherwise you can give improvement exam next year. If you think that you can crack JEE next year then you should drop a year.

No, it will be not considered by rounding off, you need a proper 75% marks to get admission in any IIITs, however, your rank will be shown up but you will not get admission.

The registration for the entrance based courses in University of Delhi' s undergraduate admission 2017 will start tomorrow. The registration for the merit-based courses is currently underway.
