IELTS stands for International English Language Testing System . It is an entrance examination for candidates with proficiency in English Language. This examination score is accepted by various reputed international employers, universities and colleges. 

The examination primarily focuses on four sections- Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing. 

There is no minimum age criteria for candidates to appear in this examination, however, it is advised for candidates of 16 and above to appear in the examination. 

This exam is conducted for two hours and 45 minutes. 

The results of this examination are valid till two years and three years if used for applying in migration.

The IELTS exam is available in two formats. They are the IELTS Academic and IELTS General Training. Conducted by IDP, in the IELTS exam there are four papers Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking. The Speaking and Listening tests are the same in both formats of the IELTS exam, but the Reading and Writing tests are different. Both the IELTS Academic and IELTS General Training evaluate the listening, reading, writing and speaking skills in the English language of the candidates. For the academic year 2023-2024, the hostel fee for single occupancy rooms is INR 2,10,420. The hostel fee for triple occupancy rooms is INR 1,23,303. The hostel fee includes the cost of accommodation, meals, laundry, and other facilitiesThe Manipal University Jaipur's hostel price varies according to the kind of accommodation and the year of admission. The hostel price for single occupancy rooms is INR 2,10,420 for the academic year 2023–2024. The cost of a hostel room for three people is INR 1,23,303. The cost of lodging, meals, laundry, and other amenities are all included in the hostel charge.

For the entire academic year, the hostel price must be paid in advance. Upon satisfactory hostel conduct, a security deposit of INR 22,000 is recoverable at the conclusion of the academic year.
