The course can be completed in a duration 3 years. It caters to a wider range of students as the course is provided in English as well as Hindi medium. The total tuition fee for the course is INR 13,500. There is no prescribed maximum or minimum age limit to pursue this course.

NLU Shimla offers admission to BA LLB (Hons) course based on merit in the CLAT exam. Candidates who have passed Class 12 with a 45% aggregate (40% for SC/ST) can apply. The eligible candidates can go to the CLAT official website to register and apply for the exam. After the entrance test, the cutoff marks are announced based on which students need to participate in CLAT counselling. After seat allotment, the candidates need to report at HPNLU Shimla campus and pay admission fee for seat confirmation.
