The ICAR/Departmental candidates sponsored by State Govt./Foreign Candidates nominated by ICAR/ICCR/any other statutory bodies of Govt. of India are exempted from appearing in the Entrance Examination. All other categories of candidates including ICAR Fellowship holders are required to appear at the Entrance Examination.

The SAT exam is conducted for two sections namely Reading and Writing & Mathematics. Both these sections consist of 2-2 modules each. The time allotted to both the RW modules will be 32 minutes each in total 64 minutes and the time allotted to both Mathematics modules will be 35 minutes each in total 70 minutes.
