You may even work as freelancer. And with good experience and contacts, you can eventually open your own business.

Salary depends on various parameters such as size of the organization, profile, qualification, experience etc.
But, to give a brief idea, a fresher can earn around 15-20 thousand per month.
In export houses experienced textile designers may draw Rs 25,000 to Rs 40,000 per month.

Ideally you should go for MCA or MBA IT as the higher education in your own stream will help you grow better in terms of salary prospects. However, if you have keen interest on the areas mentioned by you, I may suggest that you go for Masters in Fine Arts.
