Hello!
Indus School of Business Management, Gurgaon is not a good choice for pursuing PGDM course as neither it ranks even among the top 50-60 B-schools in India, nor it has a reputed brand value. You can go for it only if you do not have a much better option available and/or are unwilling to take a year's drop to prepare again for the various MBA entrance exams and aim only for the reputed colleges.

Hello Aakash,
Let us compare both the colleges. ISME provides better scholarship than UPES and stands out in terms of low fee than that to be paid at UPES. But in terms of the course curriculum, placement opportunities, and Infrastructure, UPES provides better results. Amongst these colleges, UPES is better.
I hope this help.
Good luck!

As I have seen the date sheet, I can say the gap is sufficient to study for the exam. And I do not want to demotivate but the examinations after gap are slightly tough than those which have less time or no gap.

Both the colleges are among the top MBA institutes in South India. TAPMI is better-ranked college as compared to Great Lakes, ROI for Great Lakes is good. As Great Lakes is located in Chennai, it has an advantage of location while students going for live-projects and internships. You can compare the two institutes based on infrastructure, fees, average placement, on the below link- https://www.shiksha.com/resources/college-comparison-91384-113224.

Consider doing engineering. For this, pass in 10+2 and entrance exams (state, national, university level) the eligibility criteria. Specifically, I recommend you to choose computer science or information science since you are determined to be a software engineer. Alternately, Bachelors in Computer Applications and IT is also a good option.

After BCA, MCA is probably a better course for you because it lies in the same subject specialisation. However, if you want to do MBA you can do MBA in Information technology. MCA is a postgraduate course spans over a period of 3 years and divided into 6 semesters. MBA is a postgraduate programme spans over a period of 2 years and divided into 4 semesters. I don't think there is much difference. In IT sector, knowledge is given preference over the degree course. Whether you do BE or MCA, if you don't have the required knowledge, you won't get a job.
