During the 2025 placements the median package for ECE and CSE stood at INT 11 LPA and INR 9.50 LPA, respectively. The median package for CSE and ECE branches was the same in 2024, i.e. INR 11.75 LPA. BTech is a four-year course divided into eight semesters. BTech curriculum is common for all BTech specialisations in first year. Students need to choose a professional elective during the course. Below are some of the electives available to BTech CSE students:

Seats are reserved in each branch for different categories. Around 15% of total seats i.e 125 seats are reserved for DASA candidates.14% seats are reserved for female candidates. 50% seats are reserved for state quota in every NIT. 27% for OBC ,10% for Ews, 15% for SC, 7.5% ST, and 5% for PWD candidates are reserved.

No. The authorities will have to present physical print outs of the CEPT admit card at the centre. Bringing soft copies of the CEPT admit card may raise issues at the centre. Therefore, the candidates are advised to play safe and print out the admit card to present at the exam centre.

BTech is the flagship course of MNNIT Allahabad. It has been ranked by NIRF and other ranking agencies. Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad BTech ranking 2023 has also improved, from 47 out of 300 colleges in 2022 to 49 out of 200 colleges in 2023. JEE Main 2026 schedule is out. As per the official notification, the JEE Main 2026 session 1 exam will be held from January 21, 2026, to January 30, 2026. 

Candidates will be able to check their allotted CEPT exam centre through the admit card. The details regarding the exam centre address will be available on CEPT admit card. Allotment of exam centres will be done as per the order of preference submitted in the CEPT application form. Candidates will not be allowed to change their exam centres; therefore, they are advised to be careful while submitting their order of preference.

Candidates are advised to check CEPT admit card carefully before downloading it. In case any mistakes are found, candidates are advised to immediately contact the authorities. All of the mistakes should be corrected before the entrance examination. However, the authorities will not accept requests to change the allotted exam centres.
