For getting admission in NSIT, you need a good score in JEE Mains. Your marks are just qualifying marks and cannot be considered for admission in higher education in these premier institutes. However, if you are the topper of your board then BITS Pilani may be an option.

The FS course is focused on the fast growing Financial Services sector in India. If you're interested in Finance, you'll enjoy the course, as most of the subjects right from the first year are focused on finance. Between LBSIM and SIMSR, I'd definitely prefer simsr. But maybe if you're from Delhi, you can consider LBSIM. In FS, you'll be allowed to sit for all finance profiles which come in. Banks like JP Morgan Chase, Morgan Stanley etc. and other financial institutions come a lot. Not aware of the placements in LBSIM, so I cannot comment on that.

Marks and knowledge both are very important. Both work together to make you successful. You study to get marks which increases you knowledge as well as your credibility to acquire a position in a particular institution. If you get good marks in a particular degree and show them in suppose a interview and if you are not having any knowledge about the subject it is waste. But knowledge is more important as having knowledge can make you grow like a big tree even you are just a small sappling in a very short time. So, never stop taking knowledge.

It depends on what you call better placement. The average package this was Rs. 9.4 lakhs with more than 95% of the batch placed. The highest package was 21 lakhs. We have huge brands in sectors like IT, FMCG, BFSI etc. coming in every year. Depending on these statistics, you can see if you can get the placement you desire.
