Hi,
MU-OET demands a lot of speed, in fact it requires you to be faster than any other exam. The questions are usually one mark each and have no negative marks. The difficulty of questions is less than that of JEE Mains but greater than state level exams.
One feature this exam is that the questions of different subjects are jumbled i.e. you can have a question of mathematics, a next question from physics and a next one from English. So, searching for questions from the subject you're strong at would be meaningless.

Stress is everywhere.
The most important thing is that which area fascinates you the most. USA has very good scope in mechanical engineering. But please ensure Never apply to AZ, CA, NM as most of the companies here are defence companies and will not hire a foreigner.
For Canada, the scope is good if you study either of the engineering from a Canadian University.

Dear,
There is no fix guidelines from UGC and AICTE related to B.Tech distance education and even good companies do not consider B.Tech distance mode students.
So, according to me you should plan for regular mode of education only for knowledge, skills, placement and recognition of the programme.
All the best!
