NID cutoff is the minimum marks that aspirants need to secure in order to get admission to the B. Des and M.Des courses offered at NID campuses. The cut-off would be released at the time of seat allotment. Candidates who meet NID DAT 2025 cut-off in their respective categories will get admission. To determine the cut-off, factors like seat intake, no. of applications, merit ranks of applicants, etc. will be considered. Note that the admission cutoff is not the same as the DAT Prelims cut-off, which is simply used to shortlist candidates for DAT Mains.

In the CAT exam, there is no upper limit at all to the age for appearing.  The CAT exam's only eligibility criteria is that candidates should hold relevant degrees with the required minimum percentage. The CAT is also open to students who are in the last year of their bachelor's degree programs. Also, students should obtain a minimum of 50% for the open category and at least 45% for the reserved category (SC/ST/PwD). The ones that have work experience will stand to get the job because experience is an add-on or a plus. However, work experience is not compulsory, as it will be a requirement for CAT exam eligibility in 2024.
