In order to do a BA (Hons.) in Political Science at Lovely Professional University (LPU) each candidate needs to have a 10+2 with fifty percent aggregate marks from a recognized board/university. The admission procedure starts with an online application form which is available on the LPU's official website. Although candidates do not have to take the LPUNEST (Lovely Professional University National Eligibility and Scholarship Test) to apply for this course, you can choose to do so to apply for merit-based scholarships before applying for the course.

Once your application is reviewed and you have been shortlisted for a provisional admission offer, you must then, depending on your results, either: attend counseling (if applicable), complete a document verification process, and then pay your admission fee to confirm your seat in the course. The BA (Hons.) Political Science program at LPU is 3 years long, and has six semesters. During your time in the course, you will learn mandatory subjects like Political Theory, Indian Politics, International Relations, and Public Administration etc. Furthermore, LPU offers courses in electives and skill development modules. You can apply for scholarships if you have a strong academic record, LPUNEST score, or if you have strong extra-curricular credentials. Once students are enrolled, they will be notified by print on the campus portal, or via their email of orientation day or class commencement day.
