A government college on the basis of this score is quite low at the chance unfortunately. It is suggested that you prepare for the exam again and write the paper next year. Try to score more than 450 marks or so. This will keep you on the safe side as the cutoff keeps on changing year by year. Also, the paper was kind of easy as compared to the last year so the cutoff might be higher slightly. If you don't want to prepare for another year, then it is suggested that you go for another courses in the same discipline, such as biotechnology or B.Sc. Etc. Also, if you want to prepare again, you can also apply for medical exams other than NE

Hello Samir, GNM is a three year Diploma course while ANM is two/one year course. However both these are Diploma courses. On the other hand B.Sc. Nursing is a four year course but graduate course. I strongly feel that you should go in for a degree course. Difference is only one year. Between the two Diploma courses you should go for GNM. Best wishes.

Hello,
Frankly speaking B.Sc Nursing course is not difficult at all as compared with B.Sc Biology. I do not think B.Sc Biology has much scope either in India or abroad. On the other hand, B.Sc Nursing has very good scope. Recent report by WHO indicates shortage of trained nursing staff in majority of the countries. In view of this I would like to advise you that please go for B.Sc Nursing rather than B.Sc Biology. Best wishes to you.

Hi Archana,
Although chances are low with this score but I will suggest you to give a try and participate in the counselling process. You might get a seat in the last round.
Best of luck.

You should get 45% aggregate percentage in class 12th and the lowest rank you need is around 20-25k in WBJEE to get admission for B.Pharma in GNIPST. Last year, the closing rank was 22240 after 3rd round, which had gone up in the mop-up round (spot counselling round).
