IISc Banglore GATE COAP cutoff 2026 was declared for admission to the M.Tech course for various All India categories up to Round 1. For the General AI category, the round 1 cutoff ranged from 480 to 800, wherein M.Tech. in Instrumentation Systems and M.Tech. in Microelectronics and VLSI Design were the easiest and the hardest MTech course for admission.

Aspirants can fill out the form for BDes on the website of IIAD. The application fees for BDes is INR 2,800. Aspirants can pay the fees via any of the online payment modes. Check below the steps to apply:

There are total eight semesters in the course. The curriculum is divided in each semester. Moreover, the syllabus includes core and additional subjects. There are major and minor core subjects. Additional subjects include skill enhancement course (SEC), MDP, etc.

Seat allocation is completely based on Class 12 merit scores. The process starts after application deadline. Allotment of seats is done by the college. Students who are selected receive a confirmation by the college through E-mail/SMS/WhatsApp. The college also releases a merit list on its admission portal.

The total first semester fee is INR 31, 250. This fee includes many components. Some of them are academic fee, registration charges, library and administrative charges, etc. Students have to pay charges like placement fee, etc. separately.

Missing a seat in Round 1 is not the end. NCHMCT conducts multiple rounds of centralised counselling, typically Round 1, Round 2, and a Spot Admission Round. A large number of seats in state IHMs and private institutes remain vacant after Round 1.
