In my view, its better to attempt a maximum number of questions. Constraining yourself to a number of questions might not be a good idea. Sometimes the paper is easy and people attempt a number of questions. Also, CAT result is relative, so a fixed number of attempt will reduce your chances to score high. So, better try to attempt all the questions in which you are confident.

For any medical or para medical programme, you need 7 bands in all four components in IELTS as it the medical council's registration requirement. For post graduation study, they may accept 6.5 bands overall and minimum 6 bands in all four modules.
You cannot get any dental programme for IELTS 6.

It's good to read that you want to pursue MBA. Since you are employed I would suggest you to explore executive MBA. It's of a shorter duration and also curriculum is more relevant. Most colleges in Mumbai that offer full time MBA also offer an Executive MBA programme. Pick a college keeping in mind proximity of your office/home.
