Yes, you can get direct admission in 2nd year but for that you have to clear the engineering entrance exam like:-UPTU, JEE, IPCET etc. through these entrance exam you can definitely get admission in 2nd year in their respective engineering colleges.

It depends on the colleges in which you want to get admission. If the colleges come under JoSAA you need to have a good JEE score and apply for that counseling. Else, you need to go for the other procedures, which are required by the institutes.

Hi Pannalal, you are very much eligible for all the programs of LPU. Just register yourself on LPU website and book a slot of LPUNEST. Pay online and appear for proctored exam. You will get the result after 48 hours of the test. I am sure you will be able to wualify it. For better preparation visit LPUNEST website. Good Luck

 To get a seat in Shiv Nadar University in B.Tech, you need to attempt SNUSAT and APT exams. SNUSAT consists of four romans which include English (comprehensions, essay.) and other logical thinking questions (verbal, nonverbal). SNUSAT does not include any MPC questions. Now, coming to APT, you are asked questions from only mathematics and physics of class 11th and class 12th (difficulty is less than that of JEE main). So, preparation for chemistry is not required. I don't remember the no. of questions asked but I remember that there is no negative marking. APT question paper shows up on the screen just after SNUSAT is completed.
