WES (World Educational Services) is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping international students and professionals achieve their educational and professional goals in the United States and Canada. WES was founded in 1974. WES evaluates and advocates for the recognition of international education qualifications. WES has a set the standard of excellence in the field of international mobility with their credential evaluations, research and consulting services, and ongoing support for international students and skilled immigrants. WES provides credential evaluations services. WES evaluations are widely recognized by more than 2,500 educational, business, and governmental institutions throughout the U.S. and Canada. WES is accredited by and is a charter member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES) and a member of the Alliance of Credential Evaluation Services of Canada (ACESC).
WES Degree Equivalence online tool shows how university degrees earned in other countries compare to U.S. or Canadian degrees. This information helps the user determine eligibility for immigration, employment or higher education.
Most of the US and other foreign Universities does not understand Indian universities transcripts or marks sheets as in India grades are measured based on 100% Scale. US Schools measure student performance on 4 point scale. WES will convert grades from Indian institution to 4 point scale US Grading system, and send the results to the University for candidates Application Evaluation.
