Yes, the syllabus designed for MMMUT Gorakhpur BTech courses is credit-based. Each subject included in the course syllabus is allocated a certain credit. Students who pass the subject paper in end-semester examinations are awarded the respective credits. For MMU, Ambala / Sadopur — one listing explicitly states for GNM: "this course is only provided for the female.

Online guide of GNM courses across India states that “male candidates may be admitted” in GNM generally.
