Master of Planning (Urban and Regional Planning)- The programme is designed in a semester format comprising of four semesters spread over the duration of two years with studio projects being at the central of each semester and theoretical subjects plugged in, providing the fundamental mainstay of knowledge. Use of state of the art computer applications for GIS and other spatial and non-spatial analyses is a specialty of the School and finds extensive application in the core studio projects integrated in the course.

Master of Planning (Environmental Planning)- The first semester building a foundation, the syllabus is spread across four semesters with each having a studio implementation. The programme is supported by well-equipped GIS and computer labs for carrying out spatial and non-spatial studies. The students also join research projects, workshops, competitions and other information exchange programs to expand their field of experience and learning.

Master of Planning (Transport Planning and Logistics Management)- The first semester is common for all Master of Planning specialisations, referred to as the ‘Integrated Semester’, in which the students will be trained basic foundation subjects to improve their understanding of planning and to reinforce their systematic skills. The second and third semesters deal with core subjects of Transport Planning and Logistics Management. There is an opportunity for students to opt for a subject from Common Pool of electives across all disciplines of planning and architecture to substitute a multidisciplinary method prevalent in the Institute. In the fourth Semester, the thrust is primarily on Thesis being undertaken on any topic related to Transport Planning and Logistics Management, having spatial suggestions on the natural and constructed environments.

Deakin University has specific English language proficiency requirements for international students. The requirements are categorised into four bands: Band A, Band B, Band C, and Band D. For IELTS, the Band A score of 6.0 with a minimum of 6.0 in each component, While for Band B, a score of 6.5 with a minimum of 6.5 for each component.  However, for bands C and D, the minimum IELTS score requirements are a little higher, with an overall score of 7.0 in each component. Yes, the NID DAT result was declared online on the official website of the design entrance exam.

Aspirants needed to visit NID admission page, click on the result link and log-in using their email id and date of birth. Also, note that the National Institute of Design doesn't send hard copies of the NID DAT scorecard to the candidate.

The NID DAT 2024 scorecard for DAT Prelims included details like Part I, Part II, and total scores secured by the candidate in the exam. Meanwhile, the scorecard for DAT Mains includes the NID DAT 2024 merit rank of the candidate.

The merit list of NID DAT 2024 is prepared by giving weightage to DAT Prelims and DAT Mains.

Deakin University acceptance rate stands at 65%, which makes it moderately competitive to secure admission. This figure states that out of every 100 students, around 65 secured admission at Deakin. For Deakin University admission, international and Indian students must meet all the admission requirements. International students whose native language is not English, must submit proof of English proficiency at Deakin University. The university accepts various English language test such as IELTS, PTE, TOEFL, and more. Deakin offers admission for international students in three trimesters namely Trimester 1, Trimester 2, and Trimester 3 every year. For admission to undergraduate programs offered by NMIMS (Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies) University and its member colleges, the NPAT (National Test for Programs After Twelfth) test is administered. Multiple-choice questions (MCQs) covering a range of subjects usually make up an exam. The following categories of questions are frequently seen on the NPAT exam:

• Ability in Mathematics and Quantitation: challenges involving math that cover subjects like algebra, geometry, trigonometry, statistics, probability, and arithmetic.There may be computations, reasoning, and problem-solving exercises in the questions.

• Speaking Proficiency and Understanding of Reading: Grammar, vocabulary, sentence correction, and reading comprehension are among the areas in which questions assessing English language competency are found, questions based on texts, in which applicants must respond to questions about the provided passages.

• Logical Reasoning: Questions assessing logical thinking, analytical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.Topics may include analogies, coding-decoding, series completion, puzzles, seating arrangement, blood relations, direction sense, etc.

• General Awareness: Questions covering current affairs, general knowledge, business awareness, famous personalities, awards and honors, sports, history, geography, science, etc. The focus may be on both national and international events and developments.

• Data Interpretation: Questions based on data tables, graphs, charts, and diagrams. Candidates are required to analyze and interpret the given data to answer questions related to it.

 Deakin University allows applications from international students and sets specific academic requirements for admission.

Undergraduate and Postgraduate Requirements:

•  A minimum score of 65% in class XII is required for arts and education programs.

• For Business and health programs, a minimum score of 65% in class XII is required. 

• A minimum score of 80% in class XII is required for law programs.

DoMS IIT Madras cutoff 2025 was published for admission to the management course, as MBA, based on the candidates' performance in the CAT entrance exam. For the General AI category, the DoMS IIT Madras CAT cutoff 2025 was 85.11 overall and 50 for all the sections, like Quants, VA-RC and DI-LR. 

Students who want admission to this institute need to clear both the overall percentile and the sectional cutoff. Those who clear the final CAT cutoff are then eligible to take part in the selection process that may involve WAT, GD and PI.
