Maratha Mandal Engineering College (MMEC) has a placement cell which helps in getting the students placed. The placement cell gets the student connected with a probable employer by campus recruitment activities. Infosys, HP, Tech Mahindra, and Cognizant have recruited from the campus mainly from Computer Science and Electronics streams.
Although placements have been somewhat fuzzy as a whole, with some assessments indicating issues in securing on-campus placements, the college has managed to provide an added impulse for students with employability through taking them to internships and acquainting them with exposure to the industry.

The hostel fees for MMEC vary around  60,000 to  70,000 per year. They charge for basic facilities and accommodation most of the time. However, other meals and services may attract extra charges. Students at the hostels are offered several facilities such as Wi-Fi, common rooms, and mess services.
