47 percentile in CAT is pretty low to apply for any good college. If you just want to experience GD/PI then you can go with Alliance University, Jaipuria Group, BITS Mesra, etc. I would advise you to take CMAT, MAT and other exams.

In my personal experience, Chandigarh University stands out as the top choice for pursuing B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering. The university is globally recognized, securing the #120 position in the QS Asia University Rankings 2025, which highlights its strong academic reputation across Asia. On the other hand, while Manav Rachna and JIIT Noida offer decent programs, they don't have the same level of international recognition. Additionally, Chandigarh University is ranked #231 globally in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2025 for Engineering & Technology, demonstrating its commitment to excellence in technical education

71% is a good score for CAT and your academics also seem pretty good. You can definitely check an authentic college's ranking website and checkout where you can apply depending on your location and specialisation that you are thinking of. Also, do check the reviews of current and passed students. If you are interested in Sri Balaji Society's BIMM then it is one of the top tier schools in Pune with maximum ROI and good placement. Admissions are going on.
