Once you select the specific faculty of education, it leads you towards your overall goal of career. The wise idea may be, you can choose any of academic course which will add value to your previous course (Business administration or computer related courses after B.Tech and so on), but selecting a course that is drastically different from previous may lead you for more efforts and investment. This will also devalue your previous achievement (course).

I would say your chances are very slim, given last years cutoff of 92 percentile. You can apply through CAT or XAT, if you've better scores there.

Dear Meenu,
If you ask me, I will suggest MMS (Master in Management Studies) PGDM is definitely a good option but when you compare a degree and a diploma more weightage given to Degrees.
I hope this helps.

And please remember a company needs 10 marketing people but they will only need 1 for HR. Also as you have done your BA in English it will help you in communicating your views nicely to consumers.
