• There is a very tough competition to get a government seat (cheaper) or to get a PG seat later. 
• Private colleges can charge up to 1 Crore+ INR which may not offer a good return on investment unless you have scored really well in NEET UG and manage to get a government college. 
• Working hours are long (sometimes 48+ hours) and also job can be physically and mentally exhausting.

So lastly, It is absolutely worth it if you have a genuine passion for medicine, want to be a doctor and also helps people with ailments. But it is not worth it if you are doing it only for quick money or under some parental pressure.
