To get direct admission to RV College of Engineering (RVCE) for B.Tech Mechanical Engineering, you can apply through the management quota, which typically has a separate application process and may have different eligibility criteria than the merit-based admissions. However, these seats are limited (around 25%) and available on a first-come, first-served basis, so it's important to apply early.

The university may not release the cutoff details in public domain. As per past years' data, the CAT percentile cutoff has been 70 for the overall category. Candidates with a cutoff equal to or better than the prescribed percentile become eligible for admission. Some of the factors, on which the cutoff depends are number of applicants, CAT scores, number of seats available, etc.
