Doing MCA or any degree from distance education is going to be beneficial only if you are working otherwise the degree through distance education is not much useful. IGNOU is a good option but then at times students find it difficult to follow the curriculum and strict routine of assignments etc. But there are many other universities like Sikkim Manipal, RV, LPU, Anna University etc that are also offering distance education courses. Please check their websites too.

All colleges are not Government colleges. Most of the colleges are private colleges. But, the question is not whether the college is Government or private, but is that to which university that is affiliated and the course is recognised or not.
Of course, the courses are stated to be AICTE Approved, UGC Recognised, and the college is affiliated to Rajasthan Technical University, Kota (Indian University)
